The Fabulous Energy Vortex In The Universal Temple
Sri Swamiji identified and spiritually charged energy vortices within the Shiva Rock inside the Jesus Datta Retreat Temple. This took place during the July 2011 celebrations of the 25th Jubilee of DYC USA. The Shiva Rock now has the outlines of both of Sri Swamiji's hands, painted on the rock, so that anyone who'd like to experience spirituallly infused vibration energy now has a sacred place within the temple to sit and quietly receive the flow. Why the Center is named ‘Jesus’ Datta Retreat Center.
It is because Sri Swamiji wants to emphasize the Universal quality of spirituality of the center. He refers to it as "maanava vishwa dharma" (the Universal Human Religion). This is clearly demonstrated by the multi- cultural contribution from donors of all faiths who have helped build Datta Retreat Center. Many of the 'hands on' builders and supporters of the Center are devout Christians who are very loyal and faithful devotees of Sri Swamiji.
Sri Swamiji say’s of all devotees, ”If you are Christian be a good Christian. If you are Buddhist, be a good Buddhist.” People of all faiths are following Sri Swamiji, they like Swamiji’s music.
Hinduism is an inclusive philosophy for living, embracing the essence of every Spiritual belief.
Jesus Datta retreat is a special meditation center. All religions are represented at the Center. There is a Shiva Temple with a Crystal Lingam in the Prayer Hall, because Shiva represents Light; Jyoti. Light is the first Guru; (Dispels Darkness). The Temple represents a variety of Spiritual Practices where you will find Jesus as well as Native American and Buddhist symbols.
A sacred Retreat built on hallowed ground in the heart of the serene Pennsylvania woodlands, Jesus Datta Retreat Center rests approximately 50 miles north of Pittsburgh. It is named for Jesus and Dattatreya, whose paths embrace the essence of Truth in all spiritual paths and traditions. Although the name may seem to suggest religion, the center is non-denominational and is focused on embracing nature and healing ..."it's a natural healing center".
This relaxing, tranquil, refuge was established in 1986 by Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji of Mysore, India; a great Sage who is world-renowned for mystical music compositions as well as for uplifting humanity through Healing and Meditation concerts. Back in 1986 when the luminary from India visited the secluded property, His Holiness discovered three impressive rocks. These were the same rocks previously seen in a vision by Swamiji. Today, the most significant rock has been beautifully incorporated as a prominent feature within the round wood and glass Universal meditation sanctuary.
The rocks have extraordinary energy. A second rock has a bench encircling it for those who like to be seated while they enjoy nature's energy outdoors. In order to facilitate a silent mind this particular rock, which is beside the meditation Sanctuary, is adorned with a colorful, ancient meditation symbol, the Sri Chakra.
A Rare Crystal
In addition to the wonderful, natural rock formations nestled in the heart of the blessed refuge, there's a fabulous, clear quartz crystal, that measures about three and a half feet tall. Magnificently mounted on a custom-built foundation, this rare gift in the shape of an oblong Shiva Lingam, arrived in Pennsylvania in the middle of the 2010 winter amidst record-high snowfalls. Freshly discovered in the heart of the Himalayan Mountains near Nepal, this extraordinary crystal was carefully delivered by car, to join the venerated rock formations already a key part of Jesus Datta Retreat Center. Enlightened Rocks
According to author Eckhart Tolle, crystals are 'enlightened rocks'. They are believed to have profound energetic qualities that play a vital part in receiving energy, both in the material world of radio transmissions and also among metaphysicians and meditators who use crystals to help balance and calm the mind.
Crystals represent the five elements, Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Ether/Spirit. They are purported to resonate and harmonize vibrations, and therefore function as a cosmic tuning fork. This perhaps is another reason why crystals are so popular among meditators and people who are sensitive to energy and vibrations.
What Is Shiva Lingam?
As mentioned, the sanctified crystal at Jesus Datta Retreat Center has the shape of a Shiva Lingam. This is to symbolize consciousness in its primordial form; the eternal energy from which all creation emerges. This symbolic oval shape is a reminder of the underlying, unifying force of all creation, without beginning or end. Since God/Source Energy/Brahma/Allah is everywhere present, then God is inherent within all, including rocks, nature and naturally within the rare gift of the crystal Shiva Lingam.
On April 4th. 2010, Easter Sunday, Sri Swamiji Sachchidananda held a special energizing ceremony to infuse the crystal Shiva Lingam with Life Force Energy. This energizing ceremony, according to the Hindu tradition, is known as Prana Pratishta.
"There is a good vibration here," says Sri Swamiji. People of all faiths are most welcome to visit, to withdraw from their outer lives into the essence of themselves, nature and the common sacredness of simply Being.
Why Energy in Crystals So Significant?
